We purchased 3 Exam Readers.
What review process did you follow and what conclusions did you draw?
We have tried it out with our students who needed a human reader in exams. The learners who used the pens used them with ease and fluency.
What do you most like about the Exam Reader?
It is discreet.
Please describe how you are using the Exam Reader?
We are using them with students who would require a human reader in an exam.
Please describe how it has affected your student’s confidence/independence.
It has made a very positive impact on the students’ confidence and their independence.
Please describe any other areas in school you feel the Exam Reader has helped (staff time savings, school results, cost savings etc
It has helped with exam access arrangements.
How likely are you to recommend the Exam Reader to others?
We are making a big push on recommending the pen to parents of key stage 4 learners who have a human reader as an exam access arrangement. We want them to buy the Exam Readers and use it is a normal way of working in class and becoming less reliant on human readers.
