Access to Work Scheme for Dyslexia
Having neurodiverse differences can impact many aspects of a person’s daily life, not just in the educational environment. It can also result in either the inability to find work or lack of progression in the role they already have. These Individuals can experience extra challenges in the workplace, including working memory and reduced cognitive processing speed. This presents many obstacles and therefore, creates inequalities. Government Funded Support Access to Work is government funded support available to individuals with a range of physical and mental difficulties, such as dyslexia. The aim of this scheme is to ensure people receive sufficient resources, so they are able to gain or stay in employment. What Does The Access To Work Scheme Provide?
